Give it to me: dámelo, dímelo

In a command, both pronouns join the end of the verb, the person first: dámelo (give it to me), dímelo (tell me it), dímela (tell me it, la verdad). The verb keeps its stress, so it takes an accent. With one pronoun: ponlo (put it), dime (tell me).

  • Dámelo.Give it to me.
  • Dímelo.Say it to me.

How things are done: se dice, se puede

Se + the él/ella form says what people do in general, without saying who: ¿Cómo se dice? (how do you say it?), Aquí se come bien (you eat well here), No se puede entrar (you can't go in), ¿Dónde se factura? (where do you check in?).

  • ¿Cómo se dice esto? How do you say this?
  • ¿Dónde se factura?Where do you check in?
